Where steel comes to life
Everything starts in our production hall. This is where raw steel is gradually transformed into our mobile tower cranes. Craftsmanship can be seen everywhere: a combination of advanced robots, smart processes, and the human eye for detail. In the production hall, you can truly feel the Spierings family spirit. Colleagues help one another, take pride in their work, and build something great together as one close-knit team.
The construction process
A large part of the work on our cranes starts here: steel arrives and continues through the next stages as individual parts or assembled structures. We saw, tack, and weld components ranging from small parts to large constructions.
We do this through a combination of automation and craftsmanship. Robots support repetitive tasks and ensure consistent precision. Our colleagues provide the right preparation, inspection, and finishing. This keeps quality stable and the work safe and manageable.
Everything produced here only moves forward when it meets the required standards. Welds and assemblies are inspected and adjusted where necessary, ensuring every component complies with specifications. Once the construction work is complete, crane parts are prepared for finishing and paintwork. After that, they move on to the next stage: Assembly.
Robots and craftsmanship
At Spierings, we continuously improve our production processes step by step. Robots play an important role in welding operations. They take over repetitive tasks, allowing colleagues to focus their craftsmanship on preparation, inspection, and finishing, exactly where experience makes the difference.
In addition, robots produce various parts and components with consistent quality and high precision.
In the production hall, a large part of the sawn steel is processed into components for our cranes. Robots also support the welding of specific assemblies. In this way, people and machines work together every day on reliable components, with the same focus on quality in every step.
