Diversiteit en inclusie bij Spierings

Diversity and inclusion

Working together, with room for everyone’s talent

At Spierings Mobile Cranes, people with different talents, backgrounds, and personalities work together. This fits our Brabant family culture, where people care for one another and everyone has the space to be themselves. We see diversity as a strength: it brings together different perspectives and helps us grow as a team. Whatever your role may be, at Spierings you are part of the bigger picture.

JobsCool

At Spierings Mobile Cranes, we believe in the future of engineering and technology. That is why we are co-initiator of JobsCool: a recognised technical training company in Oss, founded together with Verhoeven Family of Companies.

JobsCool gives young people the opportunity to learn the profession in practice. Students follow a BBL+ programme in Mechatronics or Construction Plate Working, receive an employment contract from day one, and earn a salary while learning. With personal guidance and hands-on experience in our factory, they grow alongside experienced colleagues.

Today, 19 students from JobsCool are working at Spierings. JobsCool proves that learning and working go hand in hand, with attention, trust, and real opportunities.

IBN Social Entrepreneurship – Workplaces for assistant technicians

At Spierings Mobile Cranes, we work together with IBN Social Entrepreneurship to support people with a distance to the labour market in finding sustainable and suitable employment. With in our production environment, we offer workplaces for assistant technicians who require additional support. Currently, 13 assistant technicians are active at Spierings.

They are a valued part of our teams and contribute every day in a meaningful way. At Spierings, we do not focus on limitations, but on talent, collaboration, and growing together.

Spierings Academy, learning and improving

The Spierings Academy is our internal learning environment, where employees can continue to develop through technical training courses and professional modules. The academy is guided by a dedicated team of colleagues who provide structure and personal support. Whether you are just starting out or already have experience, at Spierings Mobile Cranes we invest in giving everyone the opportunity to keep learning and continue developing.

People granted asylum: New talents, new perspectives

At Spierings Mobile Cranes, we believe talent knows no boundaries. That is why we offer People granted asylum the opportunity to use their skills and motivation while continuing to develop within our company and becoming familiar with the Dutch language and working culture.

Through a preparatory programme, organised in collaboration with JobsCool and Werkcentrum Noordoost-Brabant, participants are guided towards suitable employment or technical education. In July 2025, five participants successfully completed this programme. Two of them are now working at Spierings, and one joined a member company. In this way, we contribute to sustainable integration and strengthen diversity within our teams.
